Stage 1 consists of four taught modules taken over the first two years. You can choose to attend live classes at the UCLan Preston campus for two weeks per year, or to do them online. These modules provide the building blocks for your thesis.

All relevant learning materials and resources will be provided through the UCLan online learning platform. Mentors will be assigned during stage I and the supervisory team at stage 2. Supervisory support is, therefore, an on-going process during and after the completion of the taught modules.
