Designed for individuals who already hold a relevant postgraduate diploma or an equivalent Level 7 qualification, this program offers a direct and efficient pathway to attaining a full LLM degree, equipping graduates with the skills and knowledge required to excel in the legal field.

This programme seeks to enhance your employability and promotion prospects in law careers, developing skills appropriate to these occupations as well as ones within allied or related areas.

Elevate your career to new heights with our LLM (Top-Up) program and become a transformational leader skilled in driving growth, innovation, and success.

    Course Structure

The top-up programmes consist of a compulsory single module ‘Dissertation’ worth 60 credits. The research project enables you to undertake an in-depth individual research project in an area directly linked to your subject area and interests. This will ensure that you undertake scholarly work that further develops an aspect of the taught material and thereby contributes to your personal development and training towards professional practice. This module evidences your transformation from undergraduate to master’s level achievement through the process and production of a recognised research output in your subject area.

You will evidence this by producing a ‘Research Project’ of 15,000-18,000 words. The Research Project could be completed in one academic term of 15 weeks or may be studied part-time over two terms.

The Dissertation is delivered and assessed by KIMT’s UK based academic team using virtual learning platform and direct support from your allocated supervisor from Wolverhampton.

    Entry Requirements
    • A minimum of a lower second (2:2) honours degree or equivalent in a related subject is required for direct entry onto this Master’s programme.
